Ingredients
1 can salmon, drained and flaked
1 egg
½ cup breadcrumbs or panko
1 tbsp soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 green onion, chopped
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional for spice)
2 tbsp vegetable oil (for frying)
Directions
- In a bowl, mix together salmon, egg, breadcrumbs, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, green onion, and red pepper flakes.
- Shape into 4 patties and let sit for 5 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 3-4 minutes per side until crispy.
- Drain on a paper towel and serve.
Notes
- Serve with spicy sriracha mayo and a side of sesame slaw or steamed jasmine rice.
