Ingredients
1 cup coconut milk
2 tablespoons lime juice
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
1/4 teaspoon chili flakes
1 tablespoon coconut oil
Directions
- In a medium saucepan, heat the coconut oil over medium heat until it is fully melted and slightly shimmering.
- Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the saucepan, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the coconut milk, then add lime juice, soy sauce, honey, salt, and chili flakes. Stir until well combined.
- Allow the sauce to simmer gently over low heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the sauce cool slightly before serving or transferring to a jar.
