Creamy Chicken and Mushroom Casserole

Ingredients
3 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded
2 cups sliced mushrooms
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
2 tbsp melted butter
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a skillet over medium heat, sauté mushrooms and onions until soft.
- In a large bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, thyme, salt, and black pepper.
- Stir in shredded chicken, sautéed mushrooms, onions, and Swiss cheese.
- Transfer to the prepared baking dish and sprinkle with breadcrumbs mixed with melted butter.
- Bake for 30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
