Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs ground beef

  • 1 small head green cabbage, chopped

  • 1 small onion, chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup tomato sauce (no sugar added)

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella

  • Salt and pepper

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • In a large skillet, cook beef with onion and garlic. Stir in cabbage and tomato sauce. Cook 5–7 minutes until cabbage softens.
  • Spread mixture in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Top with mozzarella.
  • Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until hot and lightly browned on top.
