Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs ground beef

  • 1 ½ cups sliced mushrooms

  • 1 small onion, chopped

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • ¾ cup sour cream

  • 2 cups shredded Swiss cheese

  • Salt and pepper

  • Optional: chopped chives for garnish

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • In a large skillet, cook ground beef with mushrooms, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until beef is browned and veggies are soft.
  • Stir in sour cream and half of the Swiss cheese.
  • Spread into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Top with remaining cheese.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until bubbly and lightly golden. Garnish with chives if using.
