  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • Juice of 1 lemon (approximately 2 tablespoons)

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano

Directions

  • In a bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, and oregano until well combined.
  • Place the chicken breasts in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the chicken, making sure each piece is well coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for more flavor.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Remove the chicken breasts from the marinade and place them in the air fryer basket. Discard the remaining marinade.
  • Cook the chicken for 12-14 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
