Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning (no added sugar)

  • ½ cup water

  • 6 cups chopped romaine lettuce

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 avocado, diced

  • ½ cup salsa

  • ¼ cup sour cream

  • Optional: sliced jalapeños, black olives

Directions

  • Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  • Stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer 5 minutes until thickened.
  • In a large bowl or individual bowls, layer lettuce, taco meat, cheese, avocado, salsa, and sour cream.
  • Add optional toppings if using, and serve immediately.
