1 small head cabbage, chopped
3 medium carrots, sliced
2 medium potatoes, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can tomato paste
6 cups vegetable or beef broth

1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika

1 bay leaf
