Ingredients
4 boneless pork chops
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for a little heat)
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons water
Directions
- Place the pork chops in the slow cooker.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic, oregano, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Pour the mixture over the pork chops.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until the pork chops are tender.
- Once the pork is cooked, remove the chops from the slow cooker and set them aside.
- In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch and water until smooth. Stir this into the sauce in the slow cooker and cook on high for 5-10 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
- Return the pork chops to the slow cooker, coating them in the thickened sauce.
- Serve hot with rice or mashed potatoes, drizzling extra sauce on top.
