Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • ½ small onion, finely diced

  • 1 teaspoon mustard

  • 1 tablespoon sugar-free ketchup

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • Optional toppings: diced pickles, chopped tomatoes, green onions

Directions

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onions until beef is browned and onions are soft. Drain any excess fat.
  • Stir in mustard, ketchup, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  • Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the top and cover with a lid. Let sit for 2–3 minutes until cheese melts.
  • Serve hot with optional toppings.
