About Derek

Hi, I’m Derek! 👋 I started Dinner Endeavor because I love good food – but I don’t love how complicated dinner can feel after a long day.

Some of my best memories come from simple meals shared around the table, and I want to help you create those same moments without all the stress. I’m not a professional chef or food stylist – just a home cook who believes dinner should be easy, practical, and genuinely satisfying.

So grab your slow cooker, your skillet, or your favorite cutting board, and let’s make dinnertime easier, together.

Why I Do Things a Little Differently

You won’t find made-from-scratch original recipes here, and that’s on purpose.

I focus on recipes that actually work and help you get dinner on the table without stress. Many come from my own kitchen experience, family favorites, or trusted sources I’ve used for years.

Every recipe is reviewed and refined with care. I check that the ingredient ratios make sense, the steps are realistic, and the flavors come together the way they should. If something feels off, I adjust it before sharing. Think of me as your recipe filter, sorting through the noise so you can enjoy tasty, easy dinners that fit your life.

As for the photos, they’re AI-generated. Not to mislead you, but because while I love cooking, I don’t have the equipment or styling skills to make my real-life dinners look as good as they taste. Food photography is an art, and I’m over here with a phone camera, a dark kitchen, and a plate someone’s already taken a bite out of.

The AI images simply give the recipes the polished look they deserve while the cooking advice stays 100% real.
