Ingredients
1 pound ground turkey or pork
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
1 small onion, chopped
4 cups cabbage, shredded
2 carrots, julienned
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce (optional)
Green onions for garnish
Directions
- In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add ground pork or turkey, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Once the meat is browned, add garlic, ginger, and onion, cooking until fragrant.
- Stir in cabbage and carrots, cooking until the vegetables begin to soften.
- Add soy sauce, rice vinegar, and hoisin sauce (if using). Stir well to combine.
- Serve in bowls with a sprinkle of green onions on top.
