Butter Chicken Bowl with Basmati Rice

Ingredients
1 pound chicken breast, cut into chunks
2 tablespoons butter
1 onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon garam masala
1 can (14 oz) tomato sauce
1 cup heavy cream
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cups basmati rice, cooked
Fresh cilantro for garnish
Directions
- Melt butter over medium heat, add onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
- Add chicken and garam masala, cooking until chicken is browned.
- Stir in tomato sauce, simmer for 10 minutes, then add cream. Cook for 5 more minutes.
- Serve butter chicken over basmati rice, garnished with cilantro.
