Ingredients

  • 2 oz elbow macaroni (or pasta of choice)

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour

  • 2 cups whole milk

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 cup pizza sauce

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning

  • 1 cup cooked and shredded chicken (you can use rotisserie chicken for convenience)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Optional: ½ cup mini pepperoni for additional flavor (can be skipped if only chicken is preferred)

Directions

  • Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  • In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  • Slowly whisk in milk, stirring constantly until thickened (about 3 minutes).
  • Stir in mozzarella and Parmesan until fully melted.
  • Add pizza sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
  • Mix in the cooked pasta and shredded chicken. You can also add the mini pepperoni at this stage if using.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
