  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano

  • 1/2 tsp dried basil

  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce

  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained

  • 2 cups beef broth

  • 1/2 lb spaghetti, broken in half

  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Directions

  • In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, oregano, basil, and red pepper flakes. Roll into 1-inch meatballs.
  • Pour half of the marinara sauce and diced tomatoes into the slow cooker. Add meatballs in a single layer, then top with the remaining marinara sauce.
  • Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  • About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the beef broth and broken spaghetti, ensuring the pasta is submerged. Cook until the spaghetti is tender.
  • Stir everything together, garnish with fresh basil or parsley, and serve hot with extra Parmesan.
