  • 4 large apples, peeled, cored, and sliced

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 tablespoon butter, cut into small pieces

  • 1 tablespoon water

Directions

  • Place the sliced apples in the crockpot.
  • Sprinkle the brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt over the apples. Drizzle with maple syrup and vanilla extract.
  • Add the butter pieces on top, then pour in the water to prevent sticking.
