Ingredients
4 boneless pork chops
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
1 tablespoon cornstarch + 2 tablespoons water (for thickening)
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions
- Season the pork chops with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the pork chops for 2 minutes on each side until golden brown. Transfer them to the crockpot.
- In the same skillet, sauté the minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the heavy cream, chicken broth, parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir and let it warm through.
- Pour the sauce over the pork chops in the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or until the pork is tender.
- If you’d like a thicker sauce, mix the cornstarch with water and stir it into the sauce 30 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or pasta.
