  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 2 cups cooked pasta (or tater tots for topping)

  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)

Directions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, adding the onion and garlic until softened.
  • Stir in the mushrooms and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, cooked pasta, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  • Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish. If using, sprinkle cheese on top.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until hot and bubbly.
