Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup sour cream
2 cups cooked pasta (or tater tots for topping)
1 teaspoon dried thyme
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup shredded cheese (optional)
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, adding the onion and garlic until softened.
- Stir in the mushrooms and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, cooked pasta, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish. If using, sprinkle cheese on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until hot and bubbly.
