1 pound ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1 can (15 oz) mixed vegetables, drained
2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
2 cups cooked rice or egg noodles
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup French fried onions (for topping, optional)
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat until the meat is cooked through. Drain excess fat.
