Easy Shredded Chicken Tacos

Ingredients
3 cups cooked shredded chicken (rotisserie or homemade)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Juice of 1 lime
8 small tortillas (flour or corn)
Diced fresh tomatoes
Chopped cilantro
Sour cream or crema (optional)
Diced red onion (optional)
Crumbled queso fresco or shredded cheese (optional)
Directions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add shredded chicken, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Stir to combine and heat through, about 4–5 minutes.
- Squeeze in lime juice and stir again.
- Warm tortillas, then fill with seasoned chicken.
- Top with tomatoes, cilantro, and any optional extras you like.
Notes
- Want it saucier? Add a few tablespoons of salsa or taco sauce while heating the chicken.
Great for leftovers — just use any cooked chicken you’ve got on hand.
