Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 cup uncooked rice
2 cups beef broth
1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 onion, chopped
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked beef, uncooked rice, beef broth, diced tomatoes, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and cover with aluminum foil.
- Bake for about 30 minutes, then remove the foil and sprinkle cheese on top. Bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
