Sushi-Inspired Fish Tacos with Wasabi Slaw and Avocado

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ahi-style tuna or white fish
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 cups cabbage slaw
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon wasabi paste (or to taste)
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 8 small tortillas

Instructions:

  1. Sear tuna (or cook fish) with soy sauce and sesame oil in a hot skillet, 1–2 minutes per side.
  2. Mix slaw, vinegar, and wasabi paste to taste.
  3. Layer tortillas with seared fish, avocado slices, and wasabi slaw.

Tip: Not into wasabi? Use a ginger sesame dressing instead.
