Ingredients
1 lb beef sirloin, sliced into thin strips
2 tbsp butter
1/2 medium onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
8 oz mushrooms, sliced
1/2 cup beef broth
1/2 cup sour cream
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 head cauliflower, steamed and mashed with 1 tbsp butter and salt
Directions
- Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add onions and cook until soft.
- Add garlic and mushrooms; cook until browned.
- Add beef and sauté until just cooked through.
- Stir in beef broth and simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream.
- Serve over cauliflower mash.
- Tip: Don’t boil sour cream—add it off heat to prevent curdling.
