Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Italian bread, sliced

  • 1 tbsp butter, melted

  • 1 cup ricotta or cream cheese

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 2 cups marinara sauce

  • 20 frozen meatballs, cooked

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Brush Italian bread slices with melted butter and toast in the oven for 5 minutes.
  • In a bowl, mix ricotta (or cream cheese) with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
  • Arrange toasted bread slices in a greased baking dish. Spread ricotta mixture over the top.
  • Pour marinara sauce over the bread and top with cooked meatballs.
  • Sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Bake for 20 minutes until bubbly.
