Ingredients
1 cup cornmeal
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
1 cup milk
1 egg
¼ cup melted butter
4 hot dogs, sliced into 1-inch pieces

Directions
- Preheat waffle iron and grease with cooking spray.
- In a bowl, whisk together cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Stir in milk, egg, and melted butter until smooth.
- Pour a small amount of batter into the waffle iron, then place a few hot dog pieces on top. Cover with more batter.
- Close the waffle iron and cook until golden brown.
- Serve with ketchup and mustard for dipping!
