Skillet Pepper Steak with Onions and Soy-Ginger Sauce

Ingredients
1 lb sirloin or flank steak, sliced thin
2 tbsp avocado or olive oil
1 red and 1 green bell pepper, sliced
1/2 yellow onion, sliced
1/4 cup soy sauce or coconut aminos
1 tsp grated fresh ginger
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp sesame oil
Directions
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak and cook until browned, 3–4 minutes. Remove from pan.
- Add peppers and onion. Sauté until tender-crisp.
- Return steak to pan, add soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil. Cook 2–3 more minutes, stirring to combine.
- Serve hot, optionally with cauliflower rice.
