Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon chili powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin

  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • Juice of 1 lime

  • 8 small tortillas (flour or corn)

  • 1 cup shredded lettuce

  • 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes

  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion

  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

  • Sour cream or crema (optional)

  • Lime wedges

Directions

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add chicken and season with chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until chicken is browned and fully cooked.
  • Squeeze lime juice over the chicken and stir to coat.
  • Warm tortillas and fill with chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, and any extras you love.
  • Serve with lime wedges on the side.

Notes

  • Add sliced avocado or shredded cheese for extra richness.
    Want it spicy? Throw in some sliced jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce.
