Bacon-Wrapped Filet Mignon with Herb Butter

Ingredients
2 filet mignon steaks (8 ounces each, about 1.5 to 2 inches thick)
2 slices bacon
Salt and pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp softened butter
1 tsp chopped parsley
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Pinch salt
Directions
- Wrap each filet with a slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Heat oil in oven-safe skillet over medium-high. Sear filets 2–3 minutes per side.
- Transfer skillet to 400°F oven and bake 5–7 minutes for medium-rare.
- Top with herb butter and let rest 5 minutes before serving.
