Ingredients

  • 2 filet mignon steaks (8 ounces each, about 1.5 to 2 inches thick) 

  • 2 slices bacon

  • Salt and pepper

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp softened butter

  • 1 tsp chopped parsley

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • Pinch salt

Directions

  • Wrap each filet with a slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Heat oil in oven-safe skillet over medium-high. Sear filets 2–3 minutes per side.
  • Transfer skillet to 400°F oven and bake 5–7 minutes for medium-rare.
  • Top with herb butter and let rest 5 minutes before serving.
